As I stepped into the embroidery aisle at Hobby Lobby, and focused my attention on the lovely colors of artiste flosses, I noticed a shocking, yellow, sale sticker on all of the watercolor, variegated threads I love so much. Yea!! At least 40% off, maybe more! But wait....why are they all at clearence price?
My happiness soon turned to sadness when I asked the woman in the sewing department. They are discontinuing those particular embroidery threads. Oh no!!
Sooooo, I did the only sensible thing that could be done. I walked away......

Just kidding!! Of course I didn't walk away from clearance price floss! Instead, I busted out some Christmas cash that I had tucked away for a rainy day and went to town!

And now, here is the finished Button hole wheel stitch project finished.
It sure was a lot of fun! And now I have plenty of threads to create other projects. But what project shall I tackle next? I just can't make up my mind. Time will tell.
