Beethoven's Pathetique

Glen Gould playing Beethoven's Pathetique.  I can't explain why, but I like to listen to this when I'm feeling angry.  It's great background music for talking to yourself, arguing with yourself, throwing stuff around, slamming books shut, and just being generally mad at the world.  Just listening to it is quite exhausting, I can only imagine what it's like to play.  I'm proud to say my dad can play it.

Then, after all of the anger is gone and you are and emotional heap, sitting on the floor, surrounded by strewn papers, broken glass and books, you can move on to part II and cry the rest out.
There is just so much emotion in these two pieces.  Thank you Mr. Beethoven you creative genius!
