Redwork Pitcher and Cups Towel

Here is another little embroidery project I've been working on.  The lines look a little heavy because I used 3-ply thread on this one because I plan to put it to good use drying dishes.  It's actually a towel I've already been using, I felt it needed a little decoration.

I've always liked this pattern!  It reminds me of the big, red Kool-Aid pitcher guy from the commercials during my childhood years.

That's all for today.  I hope you all are having a good summer, wherever you are!
Until next time, have a happy vintage day!

Summertime Embroidery

Wow!  Long time no blog!  So sorry to anyone who follows me, but life has gotten incredibly busy.
The good news is I have began doing a little more embroidery again...not much, but some.

To get started again, I traced this cute little pattern found long ago on Pinterest, onto a little tea towel I had laying around.

Not too bad a start I suppose.  I used only red to keep it simple (plus I really like red work).

That's all for today, but I hope to write again real soon!  Stay creative, and have a happy vintage day!
