It's time, once again, to clean out the freezer. I'm grateful for what little freezer space I have. One look at this 1948 advertisement for a GE Refrigerator/freezer and you can see that freezers could be fairly small back-in-the-day. I remember my Grandmother's refrigerator/freezer being about the size of the one in the ad below. Of course she also had 2 deep freezers, in which she stored her garden produce.
Therefore, I will no longer complain about the size of my freezer.
